Introduction

Back in 2019, as a bright-eyed intern at a marketing agency called Dyad Ventures in Dallas, I stumbled upon a tool that would eventually become as essential as my morning coffee. The agency was using Notion to religiously organize client projects, marketing campaigns, design endeavors, and more.

From that point on, Notion has weaved itself into the very fabric of my life, whether it be managing my 9-5 grind, wrangling side hustles, or jotting down grocery lists. The Notion app can be found on every one of my devices and used daily.

The Notion Discovery and Early Days

My first interaction with Notion wasn’t anything special. More or less another application that I had to learn and use for work. But over time I started to appreciate the “free nature” and boundless structure it offered. The same element I hear a lot of people say is underwhelming, or intimidating. Which I totally understand. Thankfully I had many templates that co-workers have made that we used on a daily basis to take inspiration from.

I still have those saved on another Notion account for nostalgic sake. Maybe one day I should share them if you’re interested.

In those early days, it was the simplicity and versatility that started to draw me in. I had the freedom to build and arrange my workspace as I saw fit. Similar to the feel of playing with Legos!

As I began using Notion for everything from project planning to personal to-do lists, I found that it seamlessly blended into my daily routine. My productivity was on the upswing, and I felt more in control.

Quick Side Note 📸

If you can see the 3 vertical windows rising toward the top of the building in the top photo. Inside the building on those floors was a renovated photography studio that gave me the chance to hone my photography skills.

From User to Template Creator

As I grew more proficient with Notion, colleagues, and friends began to take notice. They would often ask me for tips, advice, or templates to help them get started. It was during one such conversation that the idea of becoming a template creator struck me.

I decided to leverage my experience and craft templates that could help others achieve the same level of organization and productivity that Notion had offered me.

This began my journey into the world of template creation. From intricate project management dashboards to daily planners, my library of templates grew. Every template was a reflection of my years of experience with Notion, and my commitment to helping others unlock their potential through better organization.

So Where Do I Stand Today?

My next/current journey is to create 100 digital products that will improve the lives of people willing to try them, like yourself.

If each of my digital products was a plant or flower in a garden at my house. I’d want people to pull over their car, pull out their cameras for photos, and say, “Damn this guy’s water bill must be a fortune!”

I’m a nut for things digital, cool, and creative and my way of giving back to this vast community of tech users on the internet is by creating these digital products.

But you’re part of a much smaller community. A community of digital natives that looks for ways to improve their physical lives through the cool tools they find online. Sound familiar 😉

In short, I’m here to build for you, and can’t wait to do it.

All in All

I’m proud to be a part of an exclusive Notion Template Creator community, rubbing shoulders with folks like Pascio, Easlo, and Thomas Frank.

Notion has been more than just an app; it has been a companion in my professional journey. As a template creator, my goal is to pass on the productivity torch to others.

If you’re on the fence about diving into the world of Notion or looking for ways to enhance your Notion experience, I encourage you to explore the templates and let the creativity flow. The possibilities are, quite literally, endless.
